🚗 Driving Test Day Prep

  • Bring: Learner’s permit, logbook (if required), glasses/contacts, ID.

  • Check your vehicle: Working indicators, brake lights, horn, mirrors, and tyres.

  • Stay calm: Breathe, listen carefully to instructions, and don’t rush.

❓ Common Questions You Might Be Asked

  1. What do you do at a STOP sign?
    → Come to a complete stop before the line, check all directions, and proceed when safe.

  2. What does a yellow traffic light mean?
    → Prepare to stop (if safe to do so).

  3. When should you use your indicators?
    → At least 100 feet (or 3–5 seconds) before turning or changing lanes.

  4. What’s a blind spot?
    → The area not visible in mirrors—check by turning your head before changing lanes.

  5. Who has right of way at a 4-way stop?
    → The first vehicle to stop, or yield to the right if you arrive at the same time.

Here are some road signs you must know for your test. RSA breaks them into regulatory, warning, and informational signs.

🚫 Regulatory Signs (Red/White or Blue)

  • 🛑 Stop Sign – Come to a complete stop.

  • ⚠️ Yield (Give Way) – Slow down and give way to traffic.

  • 🚷 No Entry – Do not enter this road.

  • 🚗↔️🚗 No Overtaking – Do not overtake vehicles.

  • ⛔ Clearway – No stopping/parking at certain times
